Calypso Rees received her law degree, summa cum laude, from the University of La Verne College of Law in 2018. She also received an MBA from La Verne in 2015. While attending law school, Ms. Rees worked as a law clerk for Disability Rights Legal Center, where she advocated for students in California’s special education programs. As Chief Executive Editor of La Verne’s Law Review, Ms. Rees planned the 2018 Law Review Symposium, “The Law and the Classroom: How Special Education and the Legal Field Intersect.” In 2017, Ms. Rees was awarded the Society for Justice Endowed Scholarship and in 2018, she received the Kendall Scholarship.
Ms. Rees has practiced workers’ compensation law exclusively since graduating from law school. She is dedicated to getting injured workers the benefits they are entitled to and guiding them through this complex system. Ms. Rees was born and raised in the Inland Empire and is pleased to have the opportunity to serve the community she grew up in.
