Cerritos workers’ compensation attorney Alan P. Riffel graduated with a B.A. with honors from the University of Southern California in 1993, and received his J.D. cum laude from Southwestern University in 1997. In law school, Mr. Riffel was the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award in Business Associations, and the Exceptional Achievement Award in Antitrust Law, and was a member of the Law Review. He was also a Research Assistant under Professor Warren S. Grimes. He is a member of the California State Bar, and is a past President of the Harbor Chapter of the California Applicants’ Attorneys Association. He has served as a Judge Pro Tem at the Long Beach Workers Compensation Appeals Board. He has lectured to several Labor and Physician groups on the subject of Workers Compensation law.  He is an Adjunct Professor at Pacific Coast University School of Law. He is fluent in Spanish.
