Colter McArdle is an associate attorney at Nager, Romaine & Schneiberg Co., LPA focusing on workers’ compensation. Prior to joining NRS, and while looking for full-time employment as a practicing attorney, Colter spent nearly six months working for a local litigation management firm. While in law school, Colter was the senior law clerk at a high-volume personal injury firm on the Westside. There, he had unfettered access to the attorneys and participated in the likes of depositions, mediations, and extensive trial preparation. Because of the nearly three years of employment and hands-on work as a law clerk at this firm, Colter possesses the types of practical skills that law school does not necessarily provide and will be an asset to NRS for this reason. In addition to this work, Colter was elected as a co-editor in chief for Cleveland-Marshall’s newspaper publication, The Gavel, where he further honed his keen eye and his scrupulous attention to detail.
Before law school, Colter worked as a case manager at a local social service agency, where his commitment and dedication to helping those without a voice was first highlighted. Because of his desire to continue to help individuals, he decided to attend law school with the knowledge that, as a licensed attorney, his capacity to help individuals would be far broader and more impactful. Now that he is in a position to put that plan to action, he could not be more excited to get to work for the clients of NRS.
Though he was born in Arizona, Colter has lived in Cleveland for ten years now and considers himself an out-and-out Clevelander. He enjoys all things sports related and coaches the baseball and soccer teams that his sons play on. In addition to sports, Colter loves animals and lays claim to having cats, a dog, a snake, and fish. While he is passionate about an array of things, Colter considers his two children to forever be his greatest accomplishment and cites them as the reason that he wakes up every day driven to be a better person, whether in a personal or a professional capacity.
