After graduating from UC Santa Barbara in 1968, Mr. Stamos received his JD from UCLA School of Law in 1971. Mr. Stamos is a member of the California Bar, Consumer Attorneys of California and the Los Angeles Consumer Attorneys Association. He served on the Board of Directors of the University of California and the Santa Barbara Foundation. He is a member of the Asbestos Litigation Group and the Hard Metals Litigation Group. He also served on the Lead Liability and Insurance Task Force and was a member of its Legislation Drafting Committee helped draft the Comprehensive Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Act of 1996. Mr. Stamos lectures frequently on legal issues concerning childhood lead poisoning and injuries related to mold exposure.
