Mr. Gottlieb graduated with a BA from Boston University in 1953, and received his JD from the same university in 1958. Mr. Gottlieb is a member of the California State Bar, the Los Angeles County Bar, the California Applicant's Attorneys Association, the American Bar Association, and the Lawyer-Pilot Bar Association. He is a past president of Southern California Applicant's Attorneys Association (SCAAA). He has lectured various groups on the subjects of workers' compensation laws, asbestos litigation, history of labor unions and written articles on aviation safety.
