After receiving his BA from UC Berkeley in 1961, Mr. Goldman obtained his JD from Hastings College of Law in 1964. Mr. Goldman is a member of the Board of Governors of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles and a past member of the Board of Trustees of the Los Angeles County Bar Association. He was formerly the Vice Chairman of the Attorney-Client Relations section and the Judicial Appointments Committee of LACBA. He is a Board Member of the Friends of the Breast Program at UCLA. Mr. Goldman is a member of the ATLA, CAALA and CAOC. He frequently lectures before these groups as well as CEB, the USC School of Law and the UCLA School of Law.

He has been named as a "Super Lawyer" by the Super Lawyers Magazine and was a finalist for the 2008 Consumer Attorney of the Year Award given by the Consumer Attorneys of California.
